Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

• Generalists: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Graduate/Post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
• Specialists: A candidate must possess a minimum qualification in the relevant discipline (e.g., B.E./B.Tech in IT/CS, Chartered Accountant (ICAI), LLB/LLM, etc.) with the required percentage of marks as specified in the official manual.

Experience

Generally, no prior experience is required for the Scale-I AO position unless specifically mentioned for a particular specialist sub-category.

Salary / Pay Scale

The NIACL AO is a highly lucrative position. The basic pay is approximately Rs. 50,925/- per month in the scale of Rs. 50925-2500(15)-88425-2710(2)-93845.

Total emoluments (including Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, and Transport Allowance) will be approximately Rs. 80,000/- per month in Metropolitan centers. Other benefits include Coverage under NPS, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, etc.

Selection Process

The selection for NIACL AO 2025 involves a three-tier process:
